The John Cooper Works aftermarket kit for the new R56 MINI Cooper S boosts power up from 175 horsepower to 192 horsepower and 240Nm of torque up to 270Nm thanks to a sport exhaust system, high-flow air filter and reprogrammed engine management.

0 to 100km/h now takes 6.8 seconds, guaranteed to give you your daily dose of Gs whenever you feel like it. If you want to dress up your car as well, an exterior bodykit includes a John Cooper Works branded front grille and tailgate, body kit and 18-inch wheels. There are also optional carbon fiber trim and panel pieces.

What are the big differences between previous Mini Cooper and the latest R56? Anyone can tell?

by the way, recent Cooper S GP roaring at 210bhp.. 18 more than this. ;)

John Cooper Work is really works! But the price is really aiyaaa…. same as BMW.

Yes, it’s nice. But, the price here is out of the world. I think the Golf GTI is better in feel and I dare say, more refine. Maybe people should try BMW 120i too. Both GTI and 120i seem better build too.

Minis are priced lower than a GTI / 120i in other countries ( UK, Germany etc ) . I will wait for the FIAT 500 Abarth
