Volkswagen will be displaying their new Pickup Concept not at the Paris Motor Show but the 62nd IAA Commercial Vehicles Show this week. The concept pick-up truck previews an upcoming 1 tonne pick-up truck that will apparently be called the Volkswagen Taro (after its old Taro pickup which was a rebadged Hilux) or a Volkswagen Robust. Hey.. VW now uses the design language from their VW UP! concept cars not long ago. Nice IMHO.

reliable sources say it will be lauched mid october with price around 102k for 5 SPEED AUTO. lower for manual.

I must say this is the coolest-looking midsize pickup truck so far…albeit still being a concept…but I suppose it’s only a few tweaks away from production… =D
