Wanna hear how Audi’s new turbocharged 2.5 litre inline-5 engine that’s set to be slotted into the Audi TT-RS sounds like? Audi has released a teaser sound clip of the TT-RS doing its thing, so you can have a listen using the embedded audio player below. Sounds much better than the inline-4 2.0 TFSI, which while is a fantastic engine, is still an inline-4 which by trait sounds a little boring, with the exception of Alfa Romeo’s TwinSpark inline-4s of course, not sure how they pull that off! fantastic car, and its only a 5 cylinder….i thought they would be jamming in a v8 in it, good, like that its more affordable

I think this engine is one bank of a Gallardo's V10 yes? Oh and one thing that has always made me think alot… with a 5 cylinder, there will be 3 pistons moving in sequence with 2 am I correct? How does that work? Won't it cause imbalance?
