Peugeot to show Onyx concept supercar in Paris

Peugeot previews its Onyx supercar concept with a set of images and a teaser clip. According to Autoblog en Espanol, the car features a hybrid drivetrain comprising a 256 hp 1.6 litre THP and a 120 hp electric motor, and is capable of averaging 4 litres per 100 km. Reports also say the car is likely to be all-wheel-drive.

We think the Onyx is a great-looking thing – the rear three-quarter shot reveals it to possess a muscular shoulder line and striking boomerang-shaped rear LEDs. It also apparently has a retractable rear spoiler that comes up at speed.

As always, more info when the wraps come off at the Paris motor show later this month.
