Naza Euro Motors will be previewing the second-gen Citroen Grand C4 Picasso in all Citroen outlets nationwide this June 14-15 weekend. As intimated by spyshots of the MPV earlier in the week, the seven-seater will be seen in its 2.0 BlueHDi diesel form.
The 2.0 litre HDi four-pot oil burner is good for 150 PS (148 hp) at 4,000 rpm and 370 Nm at 2,000 rpm, and the mill is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Performance numbers include a 207 km/h top speed and a 0-100 km/h time of 10.2 seconds.
We came across a copy of a Grand C4 Picasso brochure on a NEM salesperson’s Facebook page, and though the resolution isn’t all that hot, key features of the Malaysian GC4P can be made out. These include automatic air-conditioning and third-row AC vents, push-start ignition and a rear-view camera.
Also on the list, leather uplhostery, a seven-inch touchscreen driver interface and 12-inch high-def panoramic screen with navigation system, panoramic roof, an electric tailgate and 18-inch alloys. There’s also a massage function to be found on the driver and front passenger seats.
Safety kit on the 1,476 kg offering includes DSC, traction control, a blind spot monitoring system, lane departure warning and park assist. The people mover, which sits on the PSA Group’s EMP2 platform and has a 2,840 mm wheelbase, is available in four exterior colours locally.
The company adds that there’s a limited batch of ready stock for the diesel variant, and these are available for pre-booking.
