The Honda Jazz, which is called Fit in North America (as with in Japan), gets a mild update for model year 2012. The Honda Fit Sport variant gets revised looks, there are interior upgrades for all models, as well as the addition of new standard features.
The Fit Sport’s exterior updates include a newly designed front grille and bumper, black headlight bezels and a dark “machined surface” finish for the alloys instead of the usual painted finish. The entry level Fit receives body-colour wing mirrors and updated wheel covers.
Inside, the Fit Sport cabin is enhanced with dark metallic dashboard components for a unified color theme (previously gray and black) and chrome accents around the dials. All models get newly designed console-mounted drink holders with ambient lighting.
More across the board updates include sound insulation measures in the floor, front fenders and A-pillars, plus thicker front corner-window glass. This would be useful, since NVH isn’t that great in the Jazz. Two new colors are available: Blue Raspberry Metallic and Orangeburst Metallic.
Kit wise, the Fit Sport now comes standard with steering wheel audio controls that were previously exclusive to navigation-equipped models, as well as upgraded seat fabric. The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System now has 16GB of flash memory in place of the old DVD-based system.
Our market’s Jazz received a facelift in April. Click here to refresh your memory. More pics of the US market 2012 Fit after the jump.

Expensive for a small car !
In Indonesia, the Jazz is priced at RM70k, but the City is at RM100k! Why Indonesian Honda Jazz is cheaper than ours, but their Honda City are more expensive than ours?
Different tax structure in Indonesialah bro…
The car in the article is US version. Of course I put US price.
I don’t think Malaysia price is the same as blind US-MY conversion. More likely to factor what drivetrain and accessories inside.
Our Jazz here Bang for Buck !!
That’s …. really …. cheap!
Forget it Honda admirers, we won’t be getting those features for a foreseable future…….
Agreed bro,we are always shortchanged here when it comes to reasonable specs and also at a reasonable selling price.
There is not even a manual option here,Singapore and Thailand especially and basically everywhere else in Asean where the Jazz/Fit is sold is offered with a manual tranny option.
Cheers.
The Honda Jazz doesn’t sell well in ASEAN except Indonesia and Singapore.
Haha, dis ting is selling for for rm103k here…..
In USA, the Honda City will be sold at $40000!!!
an overpriced bug in Malaysia compare to us market…………
If Honda Fit/Jazz goes to USA, it’s invited, but if Honda City goes USA, it’s killed…
there is so much japanese can upgrade the cars but the price tag is horrible for such a small car… the justification does not warrant the 100k level, no matter wat u upgrade to. consumers will eventually opt to better specs in other makes, of late ford n kia r making in roads into the 80k segment, filling the gap nicely. even chervolet has gained some momentum, with great specs n features. if H doesnt work in unison with the market demand, probably 5 yr from now the other makes will capture the 80k to below 100k segment
facelift!!boring~~~
dun blame honda for the high price in malaysia
blame our bolehland tax and the way car prices work here
Bolehland SUCKS!!! Its government SUCKS!!! Indons say ‘Bolehland is a thief!!!’…
Hak keistimewaan P1 and P2. We should not question about it.
It would be great if Honda Malaysia brings in the latest similar spec Fit RS with 6sp manual CBU from Japan… i would get one
Wrong lah bro…
Do we have the CVT version yet??
This Jazz looks not so good, I found out the front shape one look cheap, the interior so so only especially that big round things not well fit in.
