Maybank Visa and MasterCard holders, transact a minimum of RM50 at Caltex service stations are you will be entitled to a 3% cash rebate. This is valid from now till October 13, 2014. Note that the rebate is capped at RM60 per cardmember, per month, or a total of RM50,000 per month on Caltex’s side.
“At Caltex, we’re focused on helping you enjoy your journey — premium fuels and lubricants to promote a reliable vehicle and relevant promotions that give back to customers. We are excited to partner Maybank in offering our mutual customers the opportunity to enjoy significant savings from their fuel purchases at Caltex service stations,” said Jeremy Oh, country chairman of Chevron Malaysia Limited.
caltex and bhp… which is better ?
Definitely BHP!
Caltex !! hong leong and hsbc offer 8 – 10 % cash back
what’s there to shout about? 5-10% is already a norm in many credit cards at any petrol station and this maybank wanna shout about giving 3% and tied down to caltex? go do some research on your competitors first before making a clown of yourself.
i thought 5% already the norm now, standard chartered offer up to 15% i don’t know the offer still stand
alot t&c to get the 15%.. first you need to be new standard chartered customer.. and their service isn’t really that good.. they won’t inform you that you are not eligible until 3 months later by calling them every month asking why i didn’t get the rebate they would give other excuses other than ‘you are not eligible’
in short i didn’t get the 15%.
plus from what i know this offer valid until end of year. not sure whether they are able to extend it or not.
Means every RM50..i get RM1.50?..applicable to debit card?
Nothing to shout about really, 5% cash back every where.
what a joke. MBB2cards is already giving out 5% cash back on weekends, for ALL petrol stations.
The weekend cash back is limited to RM50 a month. This essentially gives you a maximum cash back of RM110 a month.
Good then. After finish the 5% amex rebate, i should then go for the maybank mastercard for another rebate. Tq for ur help bro
RM1000 (5% = RM50) of fuel is not enuogh for u? even if u have many cars, u cant drive all of them at once. unless u travel alot. Anyway, I think Caltex should come up with a loyalty card like Petron, Petronas and etc. Caltex to me, is one of the better fuels. Cleans d engine (so they claim) and gives u more pickup/acceleration. Also notice that sparkplugs are cleaner using Caltex. So yeah, thumbs up to them.
Driving around looking for the nearest Caltex already costs more than the 3% rebate you’ll get back. When was the last time you saw a Caltex??
