UMW Toyota Motor has introduced the new Toyota Avanza 1.5X, which comes priced at RM82,700 on-the-road without insurance. The variant features several aesthetic add-ons in order to create a more rugged image for the MPV.
On the exterior, there are now front and rear bumper extensions finished in black, which are accompanied by silver mouldings. Other items include cladding around the wheel arches as well as the vehicle’s sides that serve as a form of protection for the bodywork.
The profile also boasts a few variant-specific cues, including a blacked-out D-pillar for a “floating roof” look, and there is an ‘X’ badge on the front right fender. As for the rear, additional reflector elements have been placed beside the taillights in order to inject some style in the area.
Should you want to spruce things up further, UMWT offers a variety of optional accessories like a roof ornament along with these 16-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, customers can upgrade their infotainment system to either a DVD-AVX or DVD-AVN system, both featuring large touchscreens.
Bookings are now open for all interested parties, and the new variant will be put on display at Toyota showrooms from February 24 onwards. Each purchase comes with a five-year/unlimited mileage warranty as well.
