Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has officially introduced Volkswagen Care Plus (VCP), an exclusive programme for Volkswagen owners with a vehicle that is five years and older. Signing up is as simple as via a one-time payment of RM138, and this is to be done at any authorised Volkswagen dealership.
VCP member privileges include three 20% service discount vouchers, two-year extension of Volkswagen Roadside Assistance, as well as a RM100 merchandise voucher. All this can be viewed and managed within the newly-launched aftersales mobile app.
A quick check on its website reveals that VCP members can save up to RM1,500 when servicing their cars, but discounts are only available on scheduled service as per Volkswagen Standard Maintenance Schedule (inclusive of parts and labour). For more info on Volkswagen Care Plus, click here.
Can’t even take care of their new cars but have the resources to care old cars.
I am glad this program come out. Now more people will buy Tiguan as opposed to Proton X70.
After firesales discounts, VW Tiguan is now same price as China cap lang car X70.
Better I buy German car that has won awards all over the world
Huh? What awards? The last we heard was a cat from China brand called Geely Volvo XC40 sweeping all COTY awards including those in Japan.
I did not go back to VW after warranty. Charges all went up but skill wise remains a doubt.
Volvo won, not Geely (eventhough Geely owns Volvo).
on a side note, when you buy X70, you’ll get a Geely, not a Volvo.
For when the check engine light comes on right after the warranty period. haha.
Damn and I read it as 3 years worth of 20% discount on parts and labour. Oh well bettee this than nothing at all.
Conti cars (any conti cars), are not worth going back to official SC for servicing because the prices are cekik darah. Most conti owners will seek outside workshops whom have more experienced foremen compared to those in the SCs.
Yeah. As evidenced by the Hup Seng Mercedes campaign advertised on paultan. If can win so many expensive prizes, means the profit is a lot.
VW great cars but not for Bolehland.
I have already found a good reliable service center outside with 4S-like facility with 25% cheaper for the same amount of workscope… and dont need to pay RM138 for VW Care..
Care to share the workshop name and location. Thsnks
Pls share, i’m fed up with all the SA attitude. Thanks
Good VW
The true genuine solution to problems and breakdowns is dont buy VW,
