My100 scores 100,000 registrations; RM4/RM10 feeder bus service from Putra Heights LRT to KLIA/KLIA2

The My100 unlimited travel pass for land public transport users has recorded more than 100,000 registered users, a figure which shows that the general public is increasingly receptive towards public transport usage, said the transport minister Anthony Loke as reported by Berita Harian.

“I am glad to announce that the government’s launching of the My100 and My50 passes in order to encourage the use of public transport has started to bear fruit,” he said at the official launch of the Putra Heights to KLIA/KLIA2 feeder bus service.

Having commenced operations last month, the feeder bus service between Putra Heights LRT station and KLIA or KLIA2 was officiated this morning. The feeder bus service is an initiative put forth by Prasarana and Jetbus (via parent company Hafeena) for the route between the suburb and the airports.

“What is important is that we want to see healthy competition (between government-owned Prasarana and privately owned Jetbus) which will lead to improved service. This LRT station was chosen as it connects many routes to KLIA,” he said.

The Prasarana service offers combo tickets for RM10 one way from any Prasarana service prior to the Rapid feeder bus from Putra Heights LRT to either KLIA or KLIA2, while while the Jetbus service costs RM4 one way, also from Putra Heights LRT to either airport.

This is a caring Government. Thank you for this wonderful gift to us. Now everything also cheaper. Cheaper cars, cheaper petrol, cheaper broadband, My50 and My100 passes.

What a good and honest Government we have!

Continue to fool yourself. It’s okay. The rakyat is telling you otherwise but if you still don’t listen, no matter. You’ll just end up in Malaysian history as the first one term government.

U also talk to Kunta like he is a PH Menteri. LOL

According to Prasarana, there’s 250,000 daily ridership just for MRT alone. This promo doesn’t even cover half the daily users. What an utter crap failed scheme (or some would call it scam!).

Please bring back the old concession system. Don’t change what is working just because your Pakatan and everything must be according to your selfish need to preen your ego.

Well, you’re always welcome to pay the full price. Prasarana needs full price paying customers like you to pay for operation and maintenance of the trains, rails, operator salary and etc.

Thank you for your national service.

What are you talking about dude? Concession for students/seniors/okus are still in place. If you are eligible for concessions, then you need to do some math which one is saving you more money based on your travels.

Haha stupid loke, all the way from mrt to putra heights and then take bus ride for another 40 min.. so efficient

You have bus from kl sentral/tbs and ou to do the job..
Soon when mrt to putrajaya ready you can grab a fast ride via kl erl.. then this service going to be redundant

There is demand from Putra heights to KLIA/KLIA2 so why not open another door service to KLIA/KLIA2? Plus its benefit people from Subang towards Putra Heights as well. Those who near KL Sentral are better to take from there. Don’t be so narrow minded when Prasarana is opening access to KLIA/KLIA2.

Another half studied attempt to just publish efforts…

Collect small money by encouraging large volume ridership. Once they get used to it, they will use it as routine.

Very good initiative by the Government. An empty or half full bus/train still have to run. This is a clever way to fill up the bus/train.

What the rest of the rakyat in this country can gain from this initiative? I will not be surprised that this initiative is planned during the previous government and this new government is taking the credit for it. What is the plan for public transport for the rest of the country from the new government?
Scrapping ECRL is not the right decision from this new government. I’m still waiting with a bated breath for public transport masterplan from this new government. It has been close to 10 months being in power, still nothing.

The right word to describe current effort is Primitive.
We need inclusive proposals. Not half baked obsolete proposals left previously due to better planning infrastructures.
