We’re less than two weeks away from the paultan.org Premium Auto Car Expo (PACE) 2019, co-sponsored by Michelin and TyrePlus – it’s the ultimate sales-driven car expo focusing on premium vehicles, happening at the Setia City Convention Centre on November 2 and 3, 2019.
The event will see the participation of several prestigious brands, including Audi, BMW, Bufori, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Subaru, Volkswagen, Volvo and Harley-Davidson. If you missed out on all the irresistible deals you’ll be able to enjoy next weekend, here’s a quick run through all of them.
Let’s start with BMW. Auto Bavaria is offering Munich’s finest machines with rebates of up to RM25,000, on top of complimentary one-year BMW comprehensive motor insurance worth up to RM7,000 and interest rates starting from as low as 0.33%*. Plus, if you purchase a BMW plug-in hybrid model, you’ll also get a free BMW i AC fast charging cable.
Malaysia’s very own luxury and sports car maker Bufori will also be on hand, and you’ll be able to get up close and personal with the Geneva sedan, which starts from RM1,628,888. The company will also be displaying three working prototypes of its new CS sports car, so don’t miss out.
Prefer something a bit more British? Jaguar is offering its F-Pace – the 2017 World Car of the Year, no less – at prices starting from as low as RM498,800, and there are even complimentary auto-deployable side steps worth RM20,000 thrown in to sweeten the deal.
The same complementary auto-deployable side steps (again worth RM20,000) are being offered on the stunning Range Rover Velar, which is yours from as low as RM537,787. Another award winner, the 2018 World Car Design of the Year also receives free Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality worth RM3,000 for optimum connectivity.
Mazda is making its first appearance at PACE this year, and to show just how serious its premium aspirations are, the Hiroshima carmaker is bringing its A game with its latest and most impressive range of products. The company is making its CX-5 2.5 Turbo, CX-9 and Mazda 3 2.0 available for test drives, and it will also be showcasing the upcoming CX-8 at the event. Exclusive Mazda merchandise will also be made available.
Mercedes-Benz’s ever more popular range will also be out in full force, including the A 250 Hatchback AMG Line, A 200 Sedan Progressive Line, C 200 Avantgarde, C 300 Coupe AMG Line, E 200 SportStyle Avantgarde, GLA 200 Urban Line, GLC 250 4Matic AMG Line and the S 560 e Exclusive, with many of them available for test drives. Hap Seng Star will also be offering attractive deals for the entire range.
Renault is also making its PACE debut this year, and enthusiasts are in for a treat, as the Megane RS 280 Cup will be offered with up to RM15,000 in overtrade value on your current car – on top of any deals currently on offer. You’ll also be able to subscribe to the Koleos SUV from just RM2,299 a month.
As for Subaru, its new Forester will be offered with a three-year free maintenance package across the lineup. The SUV comes with the company’s famed boxer engine and all-wheel drive, and it is also available with the EyeSight suite of safety systems, including Pre-Collision Braking and Throttle Management, Lane Sway and Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist and Blind-Spot Detection.
Eyeing a Volkswagen instead? There are several deals for almost any model you can think off, including a RM4,000 rebate on the Tiguan 1.4 TSI Highline and Passat 2.0 TSI Highline. Meanwhile, the iconic Beetle gets RM5,000 off on the Sport variant with upgraded 17-inch alloy wheels, and with production having been discontinued around the world, now’s the last chance to get your hands on one.
Lastly, the Golf is being offered with a RM2,000 rebate for both the Golf 1.4 TSI R-Line and the Golf GTI hot hatch. Meanwhile, Volvo is offering five years’ free standard service (VSA 5+) on the XC40, XC60, XC90 and S90, along with one-year complimentary Volvo Car Insurance Plus with every purchase. There will also be a surprise new model on display, so stay tuned to find out what it is.
It’s not just cars, of course. Harley-Davidson will also be present at PACE, and those who purchase the new FXDR cruiser will get a free Screamin’ Eagle titanium exhaust worth RM6,792, as well as a RM4,200 voucher for official merchandise at Harley-Davidson Petaling Jaya, including riding gear and clothing. Off-season Harley-Davidson merchandise will also be available with discounts of up to 40%.
The Sportster models will also receive free shorty dual Screamin’ Eagle Street Cannon Slip-on mufflers with end caps worth RM4,000 and a free pillion seat and foot pegs worth RM2,500. Other models on display and sale include the Iron 1200, Iron 883, Forty-Eight, Breakout, Sport Glide, Fat Bob and Street Bob.
