继昨天于国会透露准备会晤吉利集团代表了解后者在大马的投资进展之后，首相拿督斯里安华昨天便在布城接见了吉利集团掌舵人李书福。
安华也是财政部长，他在网络社媒Facebook的个人专页上发帖表示，他接见了吉利集团董事长李书福，除了确认吉利对大马的投资承诺外，后者也有意扩大在大马的投资计划。
“吉利是全球汽车业巨头，也是我国多元重工（DRB-Hicom）的战略合作伙伴。这次的会面证明吉利兑现了我在今年3月底正式访问中国时宣布的320亿令吉投资承诺。”

另外，安华也透露，在这次的会面上，吉利还分享了进一步增加在大马投资的计划，其中包括加强大马作为出口的汽车制造枢纽的地位。同时，吉利在未来还将根据行业需求，加大在研发领域的参与，以及本地技术工人的供应。
