日前，首相拿督斯里安华在布城亲自试驾了国产汽车品牌宝腾的首款电动车，也就是Proton eMas 7，并在网络社交媒体平台上发帖表达了对这款电动SUV的高度认可。他形容，eMas 7是国家汽车工业迈向绿色未来的一项重要里程碑，也是大马人值得引以为傲的创新成果。
安华还指出，大马作为东盟轮值主席国，适逢2025东盟峰会，eMas 7获选为官方座驾，这不仅象征着国家科技水平的进步，也展现了本地人才推动新能源汽车产业的潜力与决心。
