For 2026, the Malaysian MG S5 moves to CKD assembly at EPMB’s Melaka plant and remains a one-variant Lux range. It gets a 205 PS, 350 Nm rear motor, a 62 kWh battery and 446 km of WLTP range. A facelifted version in China has a semi-solid-state battery option and up to 610 km on the CLTC cycle, but no Malaysian 2026 introduction is confirmed.
