Toyota Auris Concept Video

Been a long time since I’ve posted videos here. Following the standard car video concept of “hot chick checks out car driving by in deserted volcanic or forest area” (which Proton also used for the Satria Neo TVC), this is Toyota’s video showing off the Toyota Auris Space Concept. The Toyota Auris Concept gives us a preview on Toyota’s next generation European hatchback, which will replace the current Toyota Corolla hatch. More details on the Toyota Auris here. Check out the video after the jump.

Whoooah! It sucks as much as Proton's. This ones a bit too much on the golden fluid mass thing and the car doesn't strike me as sensual or sexy. Proton's was way over the top, trying to bring about a sense of grandeur. We all know how the car turned out – an acceptable piece of crap!

    Gosh…

Is it that Toyota has lost their screws and bolts??

Is this the real effect of the new 8th-gen Honda Civic??

It seems that Toyota is trying so, so hard with this new Auris. Unfortunately, it does it's job well in uninspiring ppl. That's how i see it to be.

    =P

    gye325 ,

This kind of music often referred to genres such as electronic atmospheric ambience, soundscape, futurist, i cant really say which it belongs to precisely, but its along those lines. ;)

Boring advert, too long and too slow-paced. Surprisingly, I find Satria Neo's TVC more interesting, at least it didn't drag on.

    gye 325,

it's called trip hop. some people will said it's electro pop. this kind of music popular at UK around mid 90's. you can try portishead and sneaker pimps 1st album.

Holly shit. This is probably one of the worst car advert i ever see…. The grapics is horrible and the pace is so slow. Half way thru i just stop the vid. Cant take it anymore. They should fired whomever who did this advert.

A person could live a lifetime in the timeframe of that concept video. Very bad sense of showcasing there considering they only showed off the center console!

Didn't see the steering, seats or anything else. The models had no place in the ad in the first place as they don't really do much to accentuate what the car is about. Is it supposed to be grand or sporty or luxurious? I just don't know.

I think the new toyota corolla should be 80% same with Auris with different rear body, maybe a slightly different in other areas.

Anyone question why these people in the ads look exactly like those show on displays on lcd / plasma screen tvs, in either best /hsl/sony/etc. All these people have that same fake expression and that same fakeness that makes it all so uncanny.

It looks like TOYOTA is getting desperate with all the small car launch.

I don't think it will sell well with any of them.

Still the KENARI scores…….with that kind of price but minus the air bag. Sigh.
