PSA Peugeot Citroen signs JV MoU with Hafei

Hafei Minz

PSA Peugeot Citroen has signed a MoU for a 50:50 joint venture with Chinese automotive manufacturer Hafei to manufacturer small people movers for the Chinese market at Hafei’s Shenzhen plant.

I wonder if these people movers will be PSA-based or Hafei-based. Hafei currently has a small 1.1 litre MPV that can seat up to 7 people called the Hafei Minz, currently on sale in Singapore. It looks similiar in dimensions to the ChangAn MPV spotted undergoing road tests in Malaysia recently.

Coincedentally, both PSA and Hafei are connected to the Naza group in Malaysia.

man how i wish hammond would take this van in the top gear's van challenge and flip it over like what he did to the suzuki…..that would be awesome and hillarious……come on man the MPV is like trying to match the old hilux or land cruiser's ground clearance? madness.

i know its not a car to be driven with fun and enthusiastically,

only a mean of transportation which need extra caution in handling it, and valnurable to any kind of ….,

i woud avoid this kind of transpotation in a first place,

if people feel they should have one, …very pity.

its time for malaysia change to a big and safe diesel powered MPV,

i mean sizable, comfortable, safe, cheap running, family mover,

(if proton could offer this.. good enough)
