One-off Bugatti Grand Sport Sang Bleu

Bugatti Grand Sport Sang Bleu

Here’s yet another limited edition Bugatti Grand Sport (essentially roofless Veyron) called the Bugatti Grand Sport Sang Bleu. And how limited is this car? One unit. Yes, it’s a one-off car, and it uses carbon fiber and aluminium in its design. The carbon fiber is painted Royal Blue while the other half of the two-tone design is thanks to aluminium. God knows who the owner of this one-off model will be but I can’t really find any excitement for the various “limited edition” versions of the Veyron anymore. Yes, it’s got a massive 1001 horsepower with a mind-boggling 1,250Nm of torque and all but it isn’t exactly the most pleasant thing to look at.

    Lets not talk about cost about this car, lets instead wonder how they managed to take the roof off and still maintain chassis rigidity? are you gonna fly out of the car while doing top-speed of 400+ km/h? What kind of engineering wizardry made this… freak-show possible..

    Aluminum sides, so that means if it has a side crash, it will become a tin can? Because all Veyron drivers do is drive fast in a straight line against other cars, so Bugatti placed the carbon fibre bid in the middle to make it strong in a head on collision. Or this is just my stupid theory :P

    raybirg85 ==> not 1.5 mil euro duh! but 900k pound = €1.04m or US$1.47m…

    Sang Bleu (French)

    Blue Blood => Nobility or of noble birth.

    I'd say Bugatti has high expectations based on its name.
