Here are leaked photos of the 2016 Kia Sportage – courtesy of Bobaedream, Autospy and AutoTribune – seen here way ahead of its scheduled Frankfurt debut. Officially, only three design sketches of the next-generation SUV have been released, but here it is in full, both inside and out.
Still recognisable as a Sportage (the side profile and window line is very similar to the current model), the new upcoming SUV looks to receive bold new looks, including a prominent Tiger grille that is completely separated from the high-mounted headlights.
The rear appears very sharp too, with slim wraparound LED taillamps that are positioned high along the car’s belt line. Certainly looks good with the large wheels, big tailgate spoiler and dual exhaust pipes as pictured here, doesn’t it?
Inside, it’s as per what we’ve seen before. The dashboard design is clearly a big departure from the previous model, adopting a more mature and upmarket layout as seen on the latest Kia Sorento and Carnival. All very promising, don’t you agree?

yeap, where is this myth of low resale value….i’m being looking for a low price 2nd sportage or tucson(2011) but all selling quite high at abt 100-110k?? damned, where can i can one at 60k?? i tot korean cars dont hv resale value…just a myth it seems

Then again, these days, it’s not easy i guess, you launch a new car with designs and lines evolving from the previous model, people say you lack imagination, you do something revolutionary, you run the risk of ending up like this.
Hats off to Alfa Romeo and Mazda for their timeless designs.
Too bad about the Brera though. Saw a rare red one in US and its quite possibly the best proportioned hatcback ever made from all angles! <3
i prefer the front of the current model wwwwaaaaayyyyyyyy more than the new one. it’s just weird, and it reminds me of the similarly-ugly subaru b9 tribeca suv.

With this product KIA has officially lost their originality. The old Sportage looks much much BETTER!

sometimes these designs look way better when seen in real . pictures sometimes dont really give the full picture if u know what i mean….i think i like the design!

Don’t expect me to like Korean car Brands as your trash, since then the interiors of Hyundai and Kia are cheap but overpriced , first this the body of Porsche , the tail light of évoque, the front looks like a toad that swallows humans and the interiors were cheap as ugly as Chinese Cars from JAC 4R3 , I’ll bleed out my money to Toyota . PERIOD
