Classic Peugeot display at Peugeot 3008 Launch

Nasim added a nice touch to its Peugeot 3008 launch today by having a small classic Peugeot showcase outside comprising of a maroon Peugeot 504, a white Peugeot 403, a nice yellow Peugeot 204 cabriolet, a Peugeot 505 estate (which is a 7 seater by the way), and finally a nice black Peugeot 205 GTi 1.6 hot hatch.

Look after the jump for a photo gallery of the classic Pugs.

My dad had a 204 and 305. Nice comfy cars. My grandfather used to have a 404. This was back when Conti cars were still affordable, not like now.

The rally version was a different beast altogether with turbocharged 2.3 liter engine. This GTI was a king in those days beating the likes of VW GTI in term of point and squirt handling.

    205 GTi 1.6 but fitted with GTi 1.9 rims…. and aftermarket exhaust…
in any case, looks like a decent unit for a 20 year old plus car…

That’s what i thought! But the 1.9 rims looks nice compared to the std pepperpot alloys of the 1.6.

I remember somebody was selling the 1.6 GTi in zth last few years for RM19k only, including all the spares. The car was complete & in a lovingly-cared condition.

a 403 , “quatre-cent-trois” ,difficult to find now even in France.

But the blue beauty “cinq-cent-cinq” make me remember of Arabian people who normally use it to ferry the whole family inside.third row seat installed and voila, bonne journee….

Anyway Paul , is that 505 a V6 PRV? If it is , I can just say wow!!!

BMW (M) kicked off with the 5-Series heritage tribute.

    Today, it’s Pug.

Looks like it’s going to be the trend in new car launches.
