Scheduled on the stands for the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas is the Hyundai Tucson Sport Concept, a collaboration with Florida-based tuning house Vaccar. Given a sporty looking makeover by Vaccar, Hyundai’s SUV now comes with a unique front spoiler with extended side skirts, combined with a rear diffuser.
These bodywork items are matched with a mesh grille, two-tone paintwork, and it now rolls on 20-inch forged alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the OEM interior is gone, replaced with Katzkin ice grey leather covered seats and Suedezkin accents.
Changes on the Sport Concept are not just cosmetic, as the power plant now boasts a Boostec turbocharger, AEM air intake and cat-back exhaust. Other go-faster mods include a Mishimoto intercooler, Magnaflow muffler and charge pipe kit. On the ride side of things, performance enhancements include a coilover suspension and braking is now upgraded with Vaccar-Power brakes.
