While the 2020 Kawasaki Z H2 and ZX-25R were recently revealed at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, Kawasaki had another surprise in store, this time in the form of the 2020 Kawasaki Z900 naked sports. Shown at the 2019 EICMA show, next season’s Z900 at first glance looks the same but several upgrades have been made to improve riding performance.
The Sugomi styling language is still present but some revisions have been made to the side panels, tank protector, bottom cowl and swingarm protector. Lighting on the Z900 has been upgraded with the use of LEDs all round except for the turn signals.
Kawasaki’s inline-four power plant stays the same with 124 hp and 98.6 Nm of torque but the addition of ride modes allows the riding to switch between Low with 55% of power available and softer delivery or Full. This is matched with three-level Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) – Sport, Road and Rain.
To improve ride performance, the trellis frame has been revised slightly and now uses a high-tensile steel twin-spar tubing. For enhancing ride performance, the adjustable upside-down fork and rear monoshock have been worked on slightly to match changes in the chassis.
Inside the cockpit, a new 4.3-inch full-colour TFT-LCD instrument panel displays all the necessary and is connectable with the rider’s smartphone using the Rideology app via Bluetooth, giving the rider access to ride data and incoming message display.
The 2020 Kawasaki Z900 tips the scales at 212 kg and fuel is carried in a 17-litre tank. Braking is done with twin 300 mm discs in front clamped by axial-mount four-piston callipers and seat height is 820 mm.

Is this new 2020 Z900 will enter Malaysian market??? until now (Apr20) have not seen one..
Kawasaki malaysia and kawasaki japan pls sort out your differences quickly. Due to your disagreement between each other, it has affected the new models to arrive in malaysia i.e. Z900 H2. This will impact your market uptake in Malaysia and this is not good in the long run. How will you be able to progress, if you are not selling new models here. What kind of shitty company who will let go their market share just because of some stupid ideas in distribution channels.
