Verdict
The iX1 L is not the affordable end of the electric SUV market. Perodua QV-E, Seres 3 and BYD Atto 2 sit far below it on price, while the Volvo EC40 also costs less. Against that, the BMW gives you the long-wheelbase body, a 433 km WLTP range and a clear single-variant specification. It is a straightforward premium EV choice, but not a cheap one.
