D9 in 2026 — what's new
For 2026, the Malaysian D9 range remains the Advanced FWD and Premium AWD. China’s 2026 D9 brings an all-new interior, passenger and rear screens, up to 800 km CLTC range and Flash Charging. Separate Chinese reports cite 1,500 kW DC charging and a claimed nine-minute full charge, plus a revised grille and outputs of 462 PS FWD or 557 PS AWD. These China-market changes are not confirmed for Malaysia.

Which variant to buy
Most buyers should choose the RM299,000 Advanced FWD. Its 308 hp and 520 km rated range make it the more rational D9, and it retains seven seats and the 103.36 kWh battery. The RM355,000 Premium AWD makes sense only if all-wheel drive and 369 hp matter more than price and range. On the numbers, the RM56,000 gap buys AWD and 61 hp but gives up 30 km of rated range.

Denza D9 buyer's guides & reviews
Verdict
The D9 has made an immediate mark among electric MPVs: more than 700 Malaysian units found homes in its early run, ahead of the Zeekr 009 and Xpeng X9, though behind the BYD M6. The Advanced is priced above the Xpeng X9 and Maxus MIFA 9, and just below the Zeekr 009. Its case rests on seven seats, a 103.36 kWh battery and a 520 km rated range rather than a price advantage.
