The Mazda 3 Sedan is simple to understand: one sedan body style here, one 1.5-litre petrol automatic variant, and no variant ladder to confuse the buy. The sticking point is price. At RM119,620, it costs far more than a Proton S70 from RM73,800 and also more than a BYD Seal 6 or Aion ES, though the Honda Civic starts higher at RM133,900. Buy it for the Mazda 3 itself, not because it is the cheapest C-segment sedan.
