The first modern car to carry the new Gordini name resurrected by Renault will be this hot blue (Malte Blue to be exact) number, the Renault Twingo Gordini RS. It will go on sale across Europe from March 2010 onwards.

The little aesthetic touches that the Gordini badge has added to the Twingo include Renault Sport seats with extra lateral support with blue and black quilted Gordini-badged upholstery, blue leather door panel inserts, a blue and black steering wheel with white stripes, a Gordini-badged gearlever top with blue gearlever bellows, a blue RPM meter with white surround, and a trimmed dash cowl with visible stitching.

The rest of the Twingo Gordini RS is as per the original Twingo RS specs – ‘Sports’ chassis with 17 inch wheels, and a 133 horsepower 1.6 litre petrol engine. The Gordini version is only available in Malte Blue or Pearlescent Black paint.
