First, there was Naughty. And now comes Wicked. Volvo’s S60 won’t be the only mischievous Swede in town come next month, because the V60 wagon is set to join the fray. On January 11, specifically. A teaser image of the car in partial silhouette form is to be found on Volvo Car Malaysia’s Facebook page, highlighting the arrival date.
No details as yet on the estate, which made its debut last year, so it’ll have to wait until launch time to see if it starts off as a CBU or directly as a CKD, in 180 hp 1.6 litre T4 or 240 hp 2.0 litre T5 form, or both. Then, we’ll find out just exactly how wicked Wicked is.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
it is becoming a condom, isnt it.
volvo, a buyword for safety, now having alluring campaign for the cars
naughty could be the new stripper, wicked however is the excitement maybe off the S&M session
and dont forget they are now in the lands of kamasutra!
volvo these few years are having radical changes. no more boxy stuff or styled by designer who seems to use a ruler all his life.
Volvo has tasted success with design. Without design, everything would look drab and utilitarian, just like communist countries. High marks for design!
from Naughty to Wicked….Volvo become weirdo in advertisement…
Wiked it is …. when this engine can transform XC90 to M600 … they Know how to manipulate the power..
somehow I like V50 design more.
people only know volvo about safety and boxy … but no one know that volvo also ader “engine yang jahat”, hehehe
it might not be a good seller. but kudos to federal for bringing in this car, there is a serious lack of station wagons in malaysia. volvo estates have always been cool. and the v60 is one of the most beautiful ever. i just really wish malaysians would stop buying mpv’s or suv’s and consider this.
You sound like politician! You’ll never understand MPV & SUV buyers, small baby! What a stupid comment!
i think i do understand you guys. the more popular reasons are high driving position, presenece on the road but till date the only credible reason is the constant rain in our country. but, besides the car being high, if the vehicle is not a four wheel drive (most of the mpv’s) i do not see a point
It looks absolutely stunning this one, the sedan of the S60 is also selling well here in the netherlands.
The R-design one is to die for
Wah a joke, so this going to be Auntie bring kid to school & go pasar beli sayur car.
Then i can only wish federal auto best of luck.
Accept the fact, malaysian don’t like station wagon or estate, end of story.
Auntie would prefer MPV with sliding door, as it easier for kid & senior parent to get in & out.
dislike your comment. but sadly this is the reality of the market. plus the special tax rate for mpv’s. and in sabah special tax breaks for suv’s. malaysia tax system, y u no environmental friendly?
I find quite a number of senior citizens have trouble climbing into high sitting MPVs.
Creative marketing skill !!!! hahaha
Maybe the advertisement was more designed for Singapore, where Wicked seems to be quite a well-received musical!
Great to see Volvo Malaysia is launching the V60. I do lament the lack of proper wagons in Malaysia. You can scoff at the soccer mom or aunty who drives such car but I tell ya that many guys/blokes love such Volvo. My Volvo Club members would definitely agree with me. You should try the V60 T6 AWD R-Design. Blow your socks off! Even a 530i or E350 can’t catch it and definitely cheaper than either car.
I am slowly uprating my V70XC or better known as XC70 to R trim spec level. Should be fun with just a minimum of 240hp but a fellow member has converted his to his interpretation of a XC70R pushing 400hp and counting. Proper Brembo brakes courtesy of donor V70R too! Never laugh at a Volvo wagon as it can smoke you without you knowing it.
I like the steering
I’m at Swedish Marque servicing my car. The new V60 is sitting right here in their showroom….looks absolutely gorgeous!
The V60 is on display at Swedish Marque Sg. Besi!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous…..
