Nasim augments dealer network with Peugeot Taiping

Peugeot Taiping 3

Nasim Sdn Bhd has launched its third facility in Perak with the unveiling of the Peugeot Taiping 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre – the other two being Peugeot Ipoh and Peugeot Ipoh Garden. The 9,000 square-foot centre is built at a cost of RM1 million and is the first of five new outlets to be opened this year.

“Taiping is currently undergoing significant progress in infrastructure development. Addressing such potential was key in our decision to launch another outlet in this state within four months. This was further enforced with the results of our extensive feasibility study which revealed that Perak is indeed our fastest growing market,” said COO of Nasim, Dato’ Samson Anand George.

Peugeot Taiping 1

The 3S facility boasts a customer lounge, a Peugeot boutique with merchandises on sale and WiFi connectivity. The service centre is equipped with a total of five service bays with a maximum capacity of 20 cars per day and also provides body and paint restoration services.

Additionally, all Peugeot centres throughout the nation will have its operational hours extended to 8 pm on weekdays and 5 pm on Saturdays, from now till February 17. The campaign is for standard servicing and customers who send their cars in during this period will receive a free 30-point check and exclusive gifts.

Before 2020, you will see more and more warranty-almost-expired second-hand peugeot for sold with close-to-nothing price.

      Mark my words.

As my nick suggested, used to own one. 308VTi to be exact. Ditched before even finished serving the 5 year loan. Excessive engine oil consumption.

How about Peugeot Gearbox and its Turbo, does it spoil easy ?

Turbo wont spoil easily, but the direct injection causes hell lot of carbon buildup at intake valves that a 50K KM engine looks worse than a 200K KM engine. Gearbox should be ok, but my VTi has had gearstick problem at fifth year.

Ppl like to portrait VW as Europe’s Proton. LOL

Other than its problematic DSG, VW car actually still well built.

If you want to look for a car maker similar to Proton where:
            1. Build quality is poor
            2. Fuel consumption bad
            3. Resale value bad
            4. Overpriced and expensive

            Peugeot is the one!

First of all do you even own a Peugeot don’t encourage false advertising just cuz you think Peugeot is a better car because your VW gave you so much problem.

I think you can stop using ‘Dsg Problem’ terms coz the VW already resolved that problem long time ago. Btw, i agree with u there, VW is well built in terms of design and performance.

Did you own a Volkswagen car then? How do you know Volkswagen cars have more problems than Peugeot? All I know is Volkswagen cars have a better secondhand value than Peugeot cars since it has higher demand in the market.

Peugeot sales in 2014 is 5500 units compared to 6500 units in 2013, a drop of 1500 units and this nut is boasting of spending more on million dollar service centres.
He is very good in convincing the dead tycoon’s lavish spending”perlindungan laden”sons.
The quality of Naza’s group of mechanics is A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. I have an appalling experience with Naza service centre,am glad to have disposed of the vehicle.Even, overgrown toddler Protong,is better.

Most ppl who experienced bad reliability n service is actually with the Pug 308 model regardless or VTi n T..
Tat’s because that model and batch is a lemon batch…
The percentage of the car breaking down is very very high..
However with the current crop of 208, 408, 508, 5008 the car is pretty decent..
Regarding SC i found no problem with the SC at Chan Sow Lin 1..
