Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) users paying for toll electronically will enjoy a 20% toll discount in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations – the discount will begin from 11.59 pm on July 16 until midnight of July 17. The toll rate discount will be valid for Class 1 vehicles.
Up north, Jambatan Kedua, the concessionaire of the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge, has announced that it will be offering a similar 20% discount of the toll rate for travel on the Penang Second Bridge, but for all classes of vehicles, from midnight on July 17 to 11.59 pm on July 18.
PLUS, meanwhile, has already announced its toll rebates for the Raya holiday period, and this will vary between 30 and 50% on July 13-15 as well as July 21-23. On these days, those travelling more than 100 km on the NSE and ELITE highway and who pay toll electronically via PLUSMiles and Touch ‘n Go cards or SmartTAGs will enjoy a 50% toll rebate on July 13 and on July 23.
On July 14 and July 22, this will be 40%, while on July 15 and July 21 it will be 30%. The toll rebates will be offered all day long on these selected days and not restricted to any particular time.

Evil sods using discounts to hookwink the public, which in actual fact the highway should be a national property, if not can be bought over by the country many time over instead skimming by the crooks every year for the past 30 years or so. When is this bleeding going to stop? This is the issue Malaysians want answer for, not the pathetic ritual discounts. Nationalised the NS highway for the people, and it will be the first innovation we have in the world!!
