Honda StepWGN with Modulo X styling kit launched

Honda has launched the StepWGN in Modulo X spec for the Japanese domestic market, which comes with a host of visual enhancement to inject some sportiness into the practical MPV.

For starters, there’s an aggressive-looking aero kit, which includes a new front bumper and rear diffuser. Other modifications include a new grille, smoked headlamps, LED fog lamps, ‘Modulo X’ emblem, and a reduced ride height of about 15 mm to provide a sportier stance once the unique aluminium wheels are fitted.

Inside, there’s special upholstery for the seats, with ‘Modulo X’ embroidery, leather-wrapped controls (steering wheel, gear knob), ‘Modulo X’ floor mats, a 9-inch nav unit, and a digital video recorder.

Under the hood is an untouched 1.5 litre turbocharged four-cylinder VTEC engine with 150 PS and 203 Nm, mated to a CVT (with paddle shifters), driving just the front wheels (no all-wheel drive option here).

Honda Stepwagon pricing starts at 3,665,000 yen (RM147,502), and there are only three colours to choose from – purple, black, or white.

The conversion is affected by reduced ringgit value and stable japanese yen.
