Wow, check out that glass roof and the lcd monitors on the headrests. The Macarena??? Come on…
Glass roof in Malaysia wont be a good idea. Nowadays so damn hot summore.
If I'm not mistaken the 407 Coupe is already in production in Europe, and no longer just a prototype. Thought I read a couple of road tests by some of the UK mags. Anyway, what I do know for sure is that I think the 407 coupe has been hit with a great big ugly stick, although not as big as the one they used to beat u- I mean, facelift the 307. Pininfarina's 406 coupe was much better.
peugeot already facelifted the 206 and 307 for 2006. the new 206C (not CC) also features the same panoramic glass roof like the above. you can check it out at http://www.peugeot.com.au/PEUGEOT/AU/me.get?site…. (under new 206C).
by the way, the new 407 Coupe is currently available for order in europe only except poland.
oh my god. i edited the post.
Holy cow. I've never seen a four-door convertible before! *rubs eyes*
holy_cow,
the topic here is about 407 Convertible, not 407 Coupe.
this one is only a concept.. but will be available soon..maybe 2007/2008.
well,i wish i could have one!! ;)
He's correct, this is not into production yet. The production one is the coupe version which IMO (lacks lustere..)
The innovative thing is that, i think this Macarena (what kinda name is this?!?) is the first car in the world to have a hard mechanical folding top on a sedan. I bet 99.99% this Peugeot (Yet another) won't make it to production. Peugeot is one of the most un-focused manufacturer from what i see, coming out with tonnes of exciting concepts, i seriously mean tonnes of them! over the last ten years. But they've yet to applied anything ground breaking, still the same old contemporary looks. (Yeah the swooshing front headlights are attractive….. what else? )
Anyway, i seriously liked this Ma-ca-re-na thingy, but hate to know, or assume, this wont go into production…… bleh~ what a waste.
Macarena…Awful Name indeed..Nice roof though
