Citroen C-Crosser

PSA Peugeot Citroen is expected to further expand it’s cooperation with Mitsubishi Motors Cooperation after it’s badge/styling engineering efforts with the Mitsubishi Outlander as the Peugeot 4007 and Citroen C-Crosser has shown promise of becoming a hit - the entire 2007 UK stock of the C-Crosser has been snapped up by 200+ British dealers!

We are quite open to doing another SUV in the future. We will see what the reaction and feedback is on the C-Crosser first - it’s obviously too early do draw conclusions now - and see which direction the SUV market is going,” says Xaview Duchemin, Citroen UK managing director.

A lifestyle pick-up French version of the Mitsubishi Triton has been hinted.

look like only the citroen model is a hit. the peugeot one most probably gonna flop as the look of the 4007 is a turn-off, at best. another 607 in the waiting.

just don’t understand how peugeot could finalised 4007 exterior design as such (most people politely say it is fugly, especially the front) when the c-crosser is quite good looking and looked down right citroen, spot on.

    what a shame peugeot.

with Mitsu experience many years in 4WD, PSA sure would benefit from this!

PSA can save R&D cost for 4WD transmission…

    will there be ever a 4WD 207cc ?

Aiiyaaahhhhh every post Paul made, which has nothing to do with Proton at all; and you guys will still talk about or mention Proton…. bluueerrghhhh sick of it.

I thought ya’ll wanna get rid of it… lol

Anyway, back to topic (which of course has nothing to do with Proton whatsoever), PSA + Mitsu = meaningful product to the automotive industry; or at least a car / SUV that’s not destroyed by Jeremy Clarkson with a sledge hammer lol

It’s too bad that Mitsu has abandoned having a turbo after dropping Airtrek. I’m sure the Outlander with a 2.4T will have some serious poke… and PSA will have another option in their stable.

Can’t PSA develop their own SUVs? It’s like sauteed sushi, if you get it.

I agree. looks like many of us do not really want to talk about the topic, but ramble on unrelated matters, the favourite of which is Proton bashing. The malay saying for this is : tak ada modal, meaning ‘no capital’ (to talk about).
