I see what you did there. Hehehe.

The problem with us Malaysian is that they somehow hates TF more than they hates TL. So, whatever TF do, it got whacked till no end. Even if one day TL manage to win a race, they will surely be condemn. We truly lack sportsmanship.

Isnt Tony Fernandes just asking for trouble? There is a Lotus Notes by IBM already.
    Get a better name, dude!

That’s part of the strategy. Getting free publicity when IBM sues TF. Hey, this time around, the news will spead far and wide – far beyond the realms of F1 fans.

Unless one is blind as a bat I’m sure one can see the difference between ‘TEAM LOTUS NOTES’ and LOTUS NOTES by IBM.

This ‘Lotus’ suing issue has blown out of proportion. At this rate even the Lotus plant must be taken to court.

If you’ve got a personal vendetta against Fernandes for murdering your family or conning you your life savings then go ahead, get your sniper rifle and take him down. or at least fly MAS and don’t take AA. Since the way people talk it is as if AA is conning people instead of lowering travel costs for your family.

Take Fernandes down but don’t take Team Lotus down or his Tune group of companies. He is just one person in a massive organisation and MANY Malaysians are very happy to make a living in his organisation and to be honest if you actually get to talk to his employees he is not that lousy of a boss at all. Quite the opposite.

  • Another orchestrated effort to benefit from using Lotus moniker. Later he can claim “losses” to GL Lotus.

  • I’m huge fan of Tony Fernandez as a AA, or very proud of AA logo don by FA referees BUT never ever in this F1 business. This sport meant for F1 aficionados not someone with less courageous to use his own brand like SRB’s Virgin Racing, or any outfit.

  • Another suggestion: David Hunt Racing or Tony Hunt Racing, DHR or THR.

    David Hunt (racer)
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
David Hunt (born May 20, 1960 in Belmont, Sutton[1]), is former British racing driver and younger brother of 1976 Formula One world champion James Hunt.
Hunt started racing at 15 and moved up to Formula Ford in 1981. He competed in the British Formula Three Championship for five seasons from 1983 to 1987 against the likes of Ayrton Senna, Martin Donnelly, Martin Brundle and Damon Hill. He raced in the International Formula 3000 championship in 1988 and in the same year tested for the Benetton Formula 1 team. He then quit racing.
At the end of 1994 he sold his network marketing business and purchased the bankrupt Lotus team to try and save it, but had no success. He continued to work on getting Lotus back into the top echelons of motor sport until 2009, when he sold the rights to the Lotus name to the Litespeed Formula 3 team. Litespeed applied to compete in the 2010 Formula One season but was refused entry.[2] However, a Lotus entry backed by the Malaysian government was later given an entry for 2010 after the selection process was re-opened following the announcement that BMW Sauber will withdraw from the sport at the conclusion of the 2009 season. The team will be called Lotus Racing.[3]
For 2011, Lotus Racing, after negotiation, changes his name to the original appellation : Team Lotus.
