Honda UK has launched a limited edition variant of the European Civic hatchback called the Civic Ti, which gets a whole load of plastic slapped on the exterior and a higher spec multimedia system for the interior.
The five-door car, which has the 1.4 and 1.8 i-VTEC SE variants as base platforms, gets its styling cues from this season’s Honda Racing British Touring Car challenger.
Kicking things off is a ‘GP’ bodykit in Crystal Black that provides contrast to the exclusive Premium White Pearl shade; items include a front spoiler, rear spoiler (finished in white), side skirt inserts and rear body skirts.
Rounding off the exterior dress-up are matt black 17-inch ‘Pro Race’ wheels from Team Dynamics, Honda’s racing partner in the BTCC.
Inside, the Civic Ti gets a state-of-the-art Pioneer Navigation Multimedia System, which offers full-scale sat nav, entertainment and communication with a 3D graphic touchscreen. The Pioneer system provides another link to the BTCC team, as the AV electronics firm is the main sponsor of the Honda Racing Team.
Just 500 of these limited edition Civics will go on sale in the UK from next month.
