Test drive and win! Seems simple enough, but how many actually believe that one will win something big if he/she does not purchase the car. Well, Nur Hasmawati Mohd Yusof, 24 and Hoo Che Khong, 33, have just walked away with RM5,000 each in Perodua’s “You Drive, You Win” contest, and all they did was test drive a Perodua.
“Winning this contest is a great surprise for me, what more winning a grand prize as I have never won any contest before. I just tried my luck by submitting the contest form after test driving a Myvi. Insyaallah, my husband and I are planning to purchase a Myvi as we only have one car currently and we find it difficult to travel to our workplaces in separate locations at Parit Buntar. Thank you Perodua!” said Hasmawati, a Viva owner.
A total of 16,000 entries were received during the contest period from June 4 to 30. 27 winners of the main prizes have been announced, while 300 consolation winners will be announced by end of the month.
The 27 lucky ones took home two RM5,000 cash prizes, five 46-inch LED TVs, 10 units of the Samsung Galaxy Note and 10 units of the Samsung Galaxy S Advance. 300 consolation prize winners will get a Petronas gift card worth RM100 each.
