AMG Christmas: SLS AMG used to bake cookies

What better way to wish a motorhead Merry Christmas than with the roar of a hand-built 6.3 litre V8 engine? Mercedes-Benz AMG produced this ‘AMG Christmas 2012’ feature that features the SLS AMG being used as the world’s most expensive cookie oven. Enjoy the video. Anyone with a suitable engine bay want to try this out for themselves?

Nice trick. I’m pretty sure in real life those cookies will not be on the tray due to the acceleration of the car:P

Top Gear did something like this back in 2003 or 2004 but with 3 different cars and dishes and had the guest “star in a reasonably priced car”, Gordon Ramsey to try it out. Ramsey said the food had a taste or smell like car fumes?

Top gear did it before, but I cook veggie, meat and cane food.
At the end in reallife only the meat are success, but the test like engine oil on top of the taest.the cane food are stuck with some engine compartment and make the car die off.viggie has been over cook.
      But enjoy this warmy Christmas.

  • Need to get real.

haha… I think the food part is Mercedes’ way of reminding us of the spirit of giving in this coming festive season. If we keep up this spirit, who knows maybe we can have our own Mercedes very soon.

Haters gonna hate.. I think it gives AMG engineers a sense of humour.. which is never bad. :D

  • With the crowds that the car always attracts, AMG should send the owners a bag of “star” cookies so they can be passed out to the always present onlookers.
