An earlier report mentioned that Jianghuai Automobile, better known as JAC, was due to introduce three new vehicles in Shanghai – the JAC HeYue A20 seen here happens to be one of them. The 4,275 mm-long sedan is reportedly set to go on sale domestically at the end of the year, available in two engine variant forms.
There’s a 113 hp/146 Nm 1.5 litre, and there’s this one, a 1.3 litre job. The HFC4GB1 twin-cam 1.3 litre four-pot in the small sedan offers 98 hp at 6,000 rpm and 126 Nm at 4,000 rpm, paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
Top speed is 180 km/h, and the automaker is claiming a 5.5 litre per 100 km fuel consumption for the 1,060 kg offering. The A20 1.3 is equipped with ABS and EBD, and rides on 15-inch wheels wrapped with 195/60 rubbers.
