Previewed by the Tristar pick-up concept last year, the Volkswagen Transporter T6 range has been revealed – as the moniker suggests, this is the sixth generation of the iconic VW bus, with improvements made in performance, fuel economy and safety.
The gamut of changes starts with the exterior – clear to see is the sharper Tristar-derived front fascia, with reshaped headlights, a new front grille and a wider lower air intake; the rear gets new tail lights, a restyled tailgate and a new rear bumper. Interior revisions include a more angular design, a new steering wheel and some new switchgear.
All models come standard with Bluetooth connectivity; a 6.3-inch display with proximity sensor – enabling users to use swiping motions to scroll through lists – is available as an option. Also optional is an electronic voice enhancer service that assist the communication between front and rear occupants through loudspeakers, as is a powered tailgate.

I’m sure the new van is safer, better, more efficient and is leagues above the old bus.
But the old iconic design of the VW bus is entirely gone and replaced with a generic van design. Too bad.
the color remind me taxi in Malaysia….
Should did as what done for Mini, maintain the iconic look and improve from there. now is just like another van. nothing unique.
True.
And it will be another collector item.
The new van reminds me the movie “A Team” :P
Awwwwww man…! would love if at the very least it looked like the modern VW microbus design… this is just to blah… :(
lol, the interior design looks so high class. Also the voice enhancer service is just awesome. :P
