The Renault Kadjar range in the UK has been updated with a new range-topping Signature S Nav variant, and the option of a Energy TCe 130 1.2 litre turbocharged engine and seven-speed automatic efficient dual-clutch (EDC) transmission.

The new top-spec variant adds several items to the existing Signature Nav version. This includes full black leather upholstery with electrically-adjustable driver’s seat height and heated front seats, hand’s free parking, blind spot warning, rear parking camera as well as front and rear parking sensors.

Renault explains that the cost of these items add up to £1,750 (RM9,600), but the top-spec model is priced at just a premium of £1,400 (RM7,700) over the Signature Nav. The Signature S Nav is priced from £23,695 (RM130,000) and is available with two diesels and one petrol engine, as well as with two- or all-wheel drive.

From its Dynamique Nav variant onwards, buyers may for the first time specify the 1.2 litre Energy TCe 130 turbo engine and a seven-speed EDC transmission. The mill produces 131 PS and 205 Nm of torque – slightly higher than the 120 PS and 190 Nm offered on our Clio GT Line – and enables the Kadjar to sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds.

In the UK, the Kadjar’s prices start from £17,995 (RM98,700) and go all the way up to £28,195 (RM154,700). This includes a four-year warranty and the Renault Assistance package.
