Luxury can be presented in many forms, and for Larte Design, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class is the perfect platform to exhibit its know-how on opulence. The tuning house, along with Klasse Cars, created what can only be described as a “palace on wheels,” one that can put an S-Class to shame, as you’ll soon find out.
The spacious cabin of the V-Class gets a bespoke makeover by Klassen, featuring copious amounts of leather (some quilted), marble and other premium materials. Highlights here include VIP powered seats, a minibar, advanced communication, lighting and entertainment electronics. There is even a safe here, which comes with a fingerprint scanner.
To match the interior, the V-Class also gets a bump to its exterior styling as well. A body kit is added here, with front and rear bumpers made out of composite materials and garnished with carbon-fibre accents. There are also two inlaid crystals in the front bumper, that when matched with the luxo-van’s body colour, grants its name – Black Crystal.
It isn’t just body kit and crystals either. Larte Design also included the latest development in vehicle optics. This includes fog lamps with dual optical elements, paired to LED daytime running lights – design cues on the new V-Class.
The company describes the Black Crystal as a “business jet on wheels” and with a first-class cabin, it’s hard to argue against that. So, do you think the luxury van bests the S-Class’ interior?
