Remember Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s Urban Hunting art cars that made the rounds in Klang Valley last year? Well, the company has once again engaged street artists Orkibal, Donald Abraham and Fritilldea, along with new addition Fauzan Fuad – together, they make the group Foursome KL – to design new art cars, this time based on the facelifted Mercedes-Benz A 200 AMG Line.
The car shown above, designed by Fritilldea, was displayed at the Bangsar Shopping Centre – it’s a brightly-coloured creation, finished off with a liberal application of hand-drawn graffiti. It’s very much reminiscent his previous GLA art car, ‘Muhibbah’, which was meant to symbolise the “solidarity of people.”
As for the other cars, Donald Abraham switched from last year’s black-and-white design to one that’s far more vibrant in hue, while Orkibal went the opposite route, going for a striking monochrome look. As for Fauzan Fuad, his artwork is arguably the lightest and most whimsical of the bunch, with bright blue shapeless beings on a stark white background.
All four cars will be on display at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPac) this weekend, May 14 and 15, as part of the Mercedes-Benz Urban Hunting Art and Music Festival. Those in attendance will be able to watch the artists perform a live demonstration, join an art jam session, enrol their children for arts and crafts workshops, watch Malaysian short films and catch live performances by local music artists.

Quite interesting. good for the family. Children can partake in the art. Bravo MBM. Very good.
So different from VW. they give free sweets at traffic lights to appease customers who practically live in the SC all their lives.
Yes. Children can partake in the art. They’ll grow up and eat bananas and cringe at the sight of oysters. That’s what art is.
Why local people don’t do art on local cars?
Because mercedes so ppl call it art car, if Proton or Perodua, then ppl call it ah beng car
