VIDEO: Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4Matic+ Estate on the go

Mercedes-AMG recently unveiled its most practical offerings of the year with the new E 63 4Matic+ Estate and E 63 S 4Matic+ Estate. Now, the German carmaker has released a trio of videos so you can have a better look at the wagon on the move.

As it is an AMG vehicle, there’s plenty of power on tap with the 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 churning out 612 hp and 850 Nm of torque in the range-topping E 63 S. Those who can make do with less, the E 63 will provide 571 hp and 750 Nm of torque instead.

Regardless of engine choice, both will get a nine-speed AMG MCT Speedshift automatic transmission, along with an AMG Performance 4Matic+ permanent all-wheel drive system. The more powerful of the two will make the century sprint in just 3.6 seconds, while the E 63 will hit that target a tenth of a second slower.

As it is “in vogue” these days, the E 63 S’ 4Matic+ system comes with a drift mode to ensure that your tyres are well smoked before you need to replace them. Despite the “hooniganism” associated with the E 63 Estate, there are plenty of other much-appreciated features as well.

For starters, there’s the AMG multi-chamber air suspension controlled via the AMG Drive Select system (Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus, Individual), loads of leather upholstery, and most importantly, 640 litres of cargo space. With the 40:20:40-split rear seats electrically folded down, that figure swells to 1,820 litres.

Ha ha ha. I usually refer Estate as a piece of property & this happen to be a piece of expensive Estate with power to boot not to mention exclusivity & rare property on the road.
