Wearnes Automotive officially launched its new Volkswagen sales and service centre in Sungai Besi yesterday. The 4S outlet, which has been operational since October, is located on No. 8, Jalan Dua, Off Jalan Sungei Besi, Kuala Lumpur, next to Southgate Commercial Centre, a stone’s throw away from its previous outlet.
Costing RM6 million to build, the new centre, which handles sales, service and repair, parts, body and paint, tyre repair and alignment and air-conditioning servicing, covers a total of 75,181 square feet over two floors. The showroom on the ground level is large enough to display nine vehicles.
Meanwhile, the service centre is situated on the second floor and features 34 vehicle bays and 34 certified technicians; it also boasts upgraded tools and equipment. Also added are covered carparks, as well as a customer waiting lounge with cable TV and WiFi.

What does 4S stand for? It means Sweat, Swear, Spend and Solitude
When u buy a VW, you will SWEAT in the hot sun waiting for the tow truck to come.
You will SPEND a lot of money on repairs non stop
You will SWEAR everyday when your DSG breaks down
You will live in SOLITUDE cause you will feel shy to friend anyone
As predicted, this time bash. So next time u will be praisings…
Really? Seriously? Still dumping money in?
Anyone who drives a VW that has a 7-speed DSG autobox and who has not responded to the well-publicized recall for rectification (mainly an auto-fluid change) probably shouldn’t be too surprised if their vehicle fails to move due to the well-know gearbox shifting problem.
Kunta with a split personality… at time he praises , at time he bashes..lol
this car always breakdown on my friend.
German engineering overrated
Japan efficiency. Period
Jepunis efficiency oso overrated
I wonder why service bay is at second floor while display is occupying whole ground floor.
then what do they use first floor for? Car parks?
Very unconventional. Perhaps that is the point?
I meant that the service centre sits above the showroom, which is on the first, or ground floor.
Is there an elevated drive in ramp or they use car lift to go 1st floor?
Nice packaging but is the product equally nice?
Well done to Wearne Brothers. I hope they will provide exceptional service expertise and customer experience like Champion Motors back in the day. VW should really look at a strategy to reduce car prices. They should also consider launching the SEAT or SKODA marque in Malaysia, as per market positioning, they should turn out to be cheaper if CKD.
Parts section is so small? Most likely customers need to put down the car overnight waiting for parts to arrive without a courtesy car… if your car needed more than just an oil change.
nope. once bitten twice shy!
