May 2017 week one fuel price – petrol, diesel down

Another Wednesday, another weekly fuel price announcement – for the first week of May, more cheer for motorists as the price of fuel again drops across the board.

Starting tomorrow, May 4, RON 95 will be priced at RM2.11 per litre (down 10 sen compared to the previous week), with RON 97 at RM2.39 per litre (down 10 sen). As for diesel, Euro 2M will be RM2.08 per litre (down six sen), with Euro 5 diesel at RM2.18 per litre (down six sen). These prices will last until May 10, when the next price adjustment will be announced.

This is the sixth update of the weekly price announcement since the new pricing system came into effect on March 30. Compared to March 2017 prices – before the system was implemented – RON 95 is presently down by 19 sen, RON 97 down by 21 sen, and diesel is down by 12 sen.

Could have been lower, but the price is too volatile today. I will take the 10 cents down anyway…Next week expected the price will be down again coz everyday RM is getting stronger…

Bila naik dipersalahkan kerajaan. Bila turun kenapa tak puji kerajaan? Ada yg dah turun. Kangkung dulu naik sekarang ni dah turun. Minyak minggu lepas turun minggu ni turun lagi.

Has anyone found any dealer selling below the ceiling price?
I have not heard anyone doing so.
So,we should reckon that an ‘unofficial cartel” is at work.
All the wayang about price reduction…just to attract sympathy for the crybaby PDAM members.
These PDAM members outstrip all the Hollywood actors during Oscar awards.Just shambolic display of cartel behavior.

    • Standard script:

Minyak naik: Price has to increase due to fuel price.

Minyak turun: We cannot reduce price because not just fuel affect our price.

Kita pengeluar minyak. Kan patut rone 95 jadikan minyak rakyat yang murah. Sungguh pun harga seliter Rm 1.80 tapi ia menguntung kan kerajaan.
