Toyota 86 gains Kuhl Racing widebody kit, wheels

Tuning house Kuhl Racing has a growing line of models it has turned its attention to, and that continues to grow with its wide-body rendition of the Toyota 86. Here, the two-door sports car gains the brand’s 01R-GT wide bodykit, 20-inch wheels all around by Verz with Falken FK453 tyres mounted, while exhaust enhancement is courtesy of a Kuhl Racing muffler.

Most apparent is the reduced ride height, which gives the 86’s enlarged wheels a much tighter fit, as well as emphasising the visual impact of the dramatic camber setup, particularly at the rear. A big brake kit for the front and rear axles provides enchanced stopping power. Also listed is Kuhl Racing’s swan-neck GT wing, while adding to the visual complement is a custom Rohan paint finish with bonnet graphics.

Around the back, the factory standard Toyota 86’s imposing ‘mouth’ grille is more than matched by Kuhl’s widebody treatment for the rear bumper, which has a huge sculpting to emphasise the aperture for the exhausts and auxiliary rear lamp cluster. Granted that tuning houses’ takes on aesthetics are usually an acquired taste, what do you think of the Kuhl Racing kit? Kuhl enough?

Dammit. It’s damn Good looking But it’s not practical to be used in Malaysia because of many speed breaker & potholes to navigate.

The rear wheels off-camber will make you cry when you have to change the tires often because of uneven wear & it’s 20-inches wheels/tires is costly to repair/replace.

Not suitable for msian roads. Also, not safe as many people will try to damage your car or harm you because they dont have one….
