A new brand has entered the Malaysian kapchai scene, the 2017 SM Sport 110R, which comes with a recommended retail price of RM4,015.28, including GST, but excluding road tax, registration and insurance. This budget-price utility underbone motorcycle has 30% local content, and expected to have 60% in two-years time.
Manufactured in collaboration with MForce Bike Holdings – local distributor for Benelli, Keeway and SYM – and Qian Jiang Motorcycle, which is owner of the Benelli brand, the SM Force is a Malaysian brand which is intended for both the local and export markets. The 110 R is intended to be the first of a series of motorcycle models which are currently in the design process.
Carrying a 109 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, Euro 3 compliant engine, the SM Force 110R puts out 6.4 hp at 7,500 rpm and 7 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. A rotary four-speed gearbox, which goes from neutral through the four gears to neutral again, is used to get power to the ground.
Braking is with a single 220 mm diameter disc in front, mounted to an machined alloy wheel carrying a tubeless 17-inch tyre in front, while a drum does the duties at the back. Under the seat, a four-litre fuel tank can be found, along with a 10-litre storage compartment which also contains a USB charging port.
Weighing in at 105 kg dry, the SM Sport 110R has both electric and kick-start, with conventional telescopic forks in front and twin shock absorbers in the rear. Of note is the LED DRL in the front cowl, as well as the LED turn signals and brake light.
The brake light is a twin element unit, with the brake light and rear lights separated. There are three colour options available for the 2017 SM Sport 110 R – Bumblebee Yellow, Ocean Blue and Ruby Red, while availability is immediate from 300 MForce dealers nationwide.
MForce aims to sell an estimated 2,000 units of the SM Sport 110R locally in 2017, with a further 8,000 units to be sold in export destinations such as Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Singapore. Primary local competition for the 2017 SM Sport 110R is the Yamaha Lagenda 115Z at RM5,683 and the Honda Wave Alpha at RM4,927.

Syukur sangat sangat. Only in Malaysia, 100cc kapchai is still below RM5000.
Anyway, small family can use the money to buy a second hand kancil….safer and can take more ppl. Even babies and their stuffs.
@Mohan
I noticed something unique about bike marketing. Why is there so little data on the performance of non-superbikes unlike cars?
Even google seems void of any 0-100, braking performance, etc of mass-market bikes. Odd when you consider that bikes far outnumber cars.
For RM4K, can get disc brake already.
really good value, even cheaper than a carbon road bike.
Where can buy this
Called MForce they are not aware of this bike.
This price tag is well but quality wise need need time proven.
Kinda weird since this can cannibalize sales from SYM
