While the Subaru BRZ STI Sport and WRX STI S208 may be the star attractions at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show, the carmaker will also present a number of concepts based on the latest XV and Impreza.
The first one is called the XV Fun Adventure Concept, which serves to further strengthen the crossover’s active persona. Wearing a yellow metallic exterior paint colour, the concept also gets new protective cladding at the front and rear, as well as the sides.
If that wasn’t enough, the car’s ride height appears to have been raised to accommodate large, chunky tyres from Yokohama. The rugged look also includes a proper storage rack mounted on the roof.
Moving on, we arrive at the Impreza Future Sport Concept that the carmaker says will “encourage the driver to enjoy driving even more freely than before.” To highlight its sporty ambitions, the concept is given a yellow-pearl body colour and contrasting interior them, the latter not being shown yet.
Aside from the fancy paint, there’s new bumpers, where the one at the front features a hexagonal-shaped lighting arrangement. To make sure the rear isn’t left unattended, a twin tailpipe exhaust is mounted in the middle.
