Klang Valley highways under the Gamuda Group will have toll discounts on Christmas Day. Users of the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP), Lebuhraya Shah Alam (KESAS) and Sprint Highway will pay lower rates from midnight of December 24, while Smart Tunnel users get the discount from 6am on December 25 to 6am on December 26.
The discounts range from 20 sen to 60 sen, and is expected to benefit nearly 800,000 users. See the chart above for included classes and the exact discount for each highway.
“For Litrak and Sprint, we have carried out this proactive move yearly especially for major festive seasons, where we highly believe in the act of giving back to the community,” said Sazaily Bin Saidi, CEO of Litrak and Sprint.
KESAS, Litrak, Sprint and Smart also teamed up to organise a “Back to School” corporate social responsibility programme, where 90 less fortunate children received pocket money and a set of school supplies for the upcoming school year. Persatuan Kanak-Kanak ini Disayangi Subang Jaya, Pusat Jagaan Penyayang Nur Iman Kuala Lumpur and SK Pulau Indah 2 Klang were beneficiaries.

Agreed. Thats what gov is doing to reverse this unfairness. It starts with Pan Borneo hiway and now to East Coast hiway, Federal & EDL.
Either continue this course or bring back THAT person along with his retinue of new concessionaires.

good time to drive uber or grab. time to pocket the discount. riders pay full price, drivers pocket the difference.
So thats how it is nowadays is it, showing how much discount they given out, but forgot the fact that more user means they get more revenue and profits, so the discount is just a small tip only. The same happen for every festive season and school holiday. But is the discount that much to user ? nope…because user have to bear traffic jam even using the highway, can’t even have a decent rest at R&R, fully congested and inconvenience until people have to stop beside the highway and walk…safety issue as well. Think about it PLUS..and Government. Doesnt make sense to highlight all the discount when u actually make more money from the triple or ten times user and at the same time highway becoming like a state road where traffic becoming worst.
