Infiniti may have been busy expanding its portfolio of SUVs, but it hasn’t forgotten its sedan lineup. Nissan’s luxury offshoot has teased its new concept car for the 2018 Detroit Auto Show, which the company says will “take the traditional sedan architecture to its next stage of evolution.”
The show car will preview Infiniti’s new design language, and the sole image provided shows that while the large trapezoidal grille remains, it’s been reinterpreted in a new way – it’s completely closed save for a row of slits cut into the surface. There are also slim headlights and vertical air inlets in the front corners, and the company says the car features a long cabin, balanced proportions and a muscular stance.
While other details are not known so far, the new concept will likely presage the replacement for the Q70 (née Infiniti M) executive sedan, which has been around since 2010. Such a model is expected to be the first sedan to use Infiniti’s variable compression engine, which debuted on the QX50 crossover.

Glorified teana. Nexto
Hey, it’s not everyday you see someone with your name. Anyways as someone who’s family owns a Q50 (3.7 litre premium awd) it is basically a glorified Nissan but in a fantastic way. Chose it over the the 3 series, and A4 (A4 has smoother drive though)
