In conjunction with new year’s eve 2018 celebrations, Prasarana has announced that operating hours for the Light Rail Transit (LRT), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), KL Monorail, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and RapidKL bus services to a number of destinations will be extended until 2 am on Monday, January 1.
Services on the LRT Ampang and Sri Petaling lines from Masjid Jamek and Bandaraya stations will end at 2 am. On the LRT Kelana Jaya line, services from KLCC and Masjid Jamek stations will run until 2 am, while that from Pasar Seni, Ampang Park and USJ 7 stations will end at 1 am.
Monorail operations at Bukit Bintang station will run up to 1 am, while MRT rail services on the SBK Line will end at 1 am at the Bukit Bintang, Mutiara Damansara and Pasar Seni stations. As for the BRT Sunway Line, the last bus services from the Sunway Lagoon and Sunway-Setia Jaya stations are at 2 am, and for Mentari, SunMed, SunU-Monash, South Quay-USJ 1 and USJ 7 stations, these will be 1 am.
As for RapidKL bus services, the last buses will depart at 2 am from Pasar Seni, Munshi Abdullah, Lebu Pudu and Medan Pasar. Services from Pasar Seni cover routes 751 (to Taman Sri Muda), 772 (Subang Suria), 780 (Kota Damansara), 640 (Taman Sentosa), 600 (Puchong Utama) and 180 (Taman Dato Senu).
Bus services from Munshi Abudullah are for route 300 (Pandan Mewah) and 220 (Taman Melawati), while that from Lebuh Pudu is for route 450 (Terminal Kajang) and for Medan Pasar, route 173 (Taman Jasa Utama).
Prasarana has advised those attending new year’s eve events to use My Rapid or Touch ‘n Go cards for travel and for parking at Park & Ride facilities for ease of travel.
