Petronas launches ‘Stay Alert, Stay Hydrated’ campaign, coffee and water combo until year-end

Petronas has launched the ‘Stay Alert, Stay Hydrated’ campaign in conjunction with the Road Safety Department (JKJR) and Nestle, which will run throughout the year until December 31, 2018. The national petroleum company’s retail business is offering a combo comprising a bottle of mineral water and a can of Nescafe coffee for just RM3.50.

This follows up on the Coffee Break campaign which Petronas ran during past festive seasons, though the latest one goes further than that, according to the company.

The driving factor behind the promotion is to heighten the public’s awareness on the subject of microsleep, a phenomenon where a driver falls asleep for a brief moment before regaining proper consciousness. This is a serious problem, one that has yet to receive widespread attention from the road-using public.

This is the case because other safety matters, such as mobile phone use while driving receive a greater share of the public’s attention, and here Petronas has elected to shine a light on the subject of potentially falling asleep at the wheel and its consequences. This campaign is ongoing at all 700 Petronas stations and Mesra outlets nationwide.

All P1 CEOs get super high paying jobs as CEOs of other GLCs after leaving P1. It is the reward given to them by Government for job well done in Proton.

Even last CEO, made Proton “super duper successful”, given top job in Malakoff. Gaji 7 figures per month.

It shows, when you work in Proton, you will be very successful in life

    • If you go to Tesco and buy a can of Nescafe and Mineral Water, it will be RM2.50

And this is after Tesco makes a huge profit.

The can of Nescafe is probably RM1.00 cost price for Tesco and the Mineral Water is 30 sen cost price for Tesco

Nothing to be proud here when Petronas is charging so much

      • Still okay lar. Better than P2 selling China TPMS at 3X the prices I can get in Lazada. Nothing to be proud here when P2 is charging much more topkek.

    • DRB is a failure company. Failed Proton badly

Because of DRB also, Proton lost heir land in Shah Alam worth RM5 billion

Imagine, if Proton sold that land, they can settle all their debts.

      DRB sapu Proton’s land

Petrol station make 12.19 cents per liter as their margin. If they pump RM50.00 they make approximately RM2.76 cents for RM50 petrol.
To give RM5 free will mean they will close shop technically. This is just for your info Ben. No pun intended. Cheers

He was a direct competitor to DRB upon requisition process of proton. DSZ and ex proton nazrin something. If he stays, there will be a conflict of interests against both. At least, on paper.
